Track Star Michelle Thompson Breaks National 100m Record

Rising track and field sensation Michelle Thompson shattered the national 100-meter record at yesterday’s Caribbean Athletics Championship in Jamaica, cementing her status as one of the region’s fastest athletes.

Her time of 10.87 seconds broke a record that had stood for 12 years and earned her a gold medal. The 22-year-old athlete from Tobago is now being touted as a strong contender for the upcoming Olympics.

Her coach praised her dedication, stating: “Michelle has been training six days a week for the past two years. This is just the beginning of what she can achieve.”

Sports analysts predict even faster times in future competitions as Thompson continues to refine her technique and build strength.
